My barn paintings have been selling over at the lovely Cottage Industry shop here in Charlottetown. This  makes me so happy… mostly because I got to paint more barns! We dropped these happy little ones off today.

My barn paintings have left me for a better home. They are now living in my sister in law’s super gorgeous new store, Cottage Industry. I think they look great (I might even say perfect) there. She’s located on Grafton at the corner of Queen if you want to pop by for a visit. :)

This is the reason I missed Easter dinner. My finger somehow got caught in the trunk as I was packing away that lovely pudding. You don’t want to know what’s under that bandage, it is the stuff of nightmares. I only looked at it once, right after it happened… and I still can’t get the image out of my head.

I’m working on a big shop update. I’ve made a set of mini barnface paintings that I’m going to put up for sale. Check back soon!!

Another sad, but encouraging barn to lead you into the weekend.

We got out to the country this weekend and I got some more wonderful photos of barns. (More paintings to come!)

You might be wondering what’s up with all the barn paintings. Last summer, I was feeling particularly sad and like I didn’t fit in here. My favourite part of driving all around with the girls doing all the typical summer stuff,  was seeing barns. Not the beaches or lighthouses or quaint towns… but these sad and adorable barns.  Somehow they make me feel better about living here.
