Custom Children’s Portraits

I’ve been making children’s portraits for about 5 years. The idea spurred from a friend asking me to do a little painting of a bird saying her niece’s name. I posted a picture of it on my website and people started asking for paintings like that… or variations on it. The rest is history.

My custom paintings have been featured in the pages of Canadian House and Home and other magazines. Even the Premier of PEI’s daughter has one hanging in her room! You can see a little feature on my paintings here, and a profile on me here.

Custom Fabric Pieces

I offer fabric portraits as well. I started working with fabric after I couldn’t bear to part with some pieces of my daugher’s clothes. Instead of donating them I decided to make some fabric art with them. The fabric pieces I do now made from a combination of thrifted vintage fabric and bits and pieces I have in my collection. Each piece is unique.
