This week’s Small Fancy theme is “simple pleasures”. Watching Sosi sleep is one of mine. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite as beautiful as Sosi sleeping .
I’d love to hear what you think of this little collaboration between Mia and myself. I’m loving it. It is feels like my good friend is a little bit closer as we do these drawings together.

I love it too. It’s sweet, simple, and looks very unplanned. It seems like you two don’t talk about what to draw other than the name, which I like.
Now if only you would make a print of your sleep sketch… it really hit home over here (about to go to bed at 9:00 pm due to the toddler that can’t quite sleep through the night yet…)

thanks vanessa! we don’t see each other’s drawing until they are posted. it is always a fun surprise.
we are planning making some products together from our drawings after xmas. maybe i’ll use the sleep sketch! hope you are getting some rest.
carolyn, it is always good to take a break from blogging. taking the summer off really helped me sort some things out and got me all excited about it again.
